This full bilingual exhibition catalogue accompanies the solo retrospective of the work of the important Canadian artist Alma Duncan (1917-2004) held at the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) in 2014. Containing over 70 colour illustrations, the catalogue features original texts and reflects on a range of Duncan’s work from her 60-year career. This publication includes stunning self-portraits, portraits of well-known Canadians including P.K. Page and Norman MacLaren, little-before seen "dot" drawings, ink on paper landscapes and abstractions, and a selection of Duncan’s acclaimed drawings of wartime industry and munitions factories.
