I have experienced many losses in my life, big and small. But I choose to see my scars as symbols of pride and victory, marks of the battles I have fought and won. Today, I am stronger than ever, and I want to comfort all those who feel they have lost a part of themselves, but who long to see this loss as a stage in the incredible adventure that is their existence. My scars and yours teach us to see ourselves differently. It is my dream that we see ourselves as the brave warriors we truly are.
